Work for Us / Join Us – BackgroundWe aim to secure a well-trained, client focused, professional workforce. We have a robust Induction process, and operate a system of regular one-to-one supervision and annual appraisal. All support staff are required to attain NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and there is an enhanced career grade for achieving that. We encourage our staff to contribute to the development of the organisation and the improvement of client support, and we hold fortnightly team meetings for our support staff, regular meetings for other staff, and at least one ‘Away Day’ a year. We have a Staff Representative, recognise ‘Unison’, are accredited by Investors in People, have ‘Positive About Disabled People’ status, and apply a comprehensive Equal Opportunities policy. In addition to our salary scheme we offer a 5% pension contribution. Our holiday entitlement is 22 days basic (full time equivalent) increasing to 27 days over 5 years, plus 8 public holidays, pro rata for part-time employees. |
